You wake up in a maze and find a note laying on the ground. The note says " Find your way out and the person you value most will be saved. However, if you fail to do so you may never see them again. " You flip the note over and see scribbling on the back. You don't understand what the scribble is and can't decide if you want to [[keep]] the note or [[leave]] the note where you found it.You decided to keep the note just in case you need it later. You put the note in your pocket and walked down the only path you see. You eventually come to a fork in the path. One path goes to the [[right]], one path goes to the [[left]], and the third path goes [[straight]].You decided to leave the note on the ground figuring that you wouldn't need it later. You placed the note back on the ground where you found it and continued to walk down the only path that you saw. You eventually came to a fork in the path. One path goes to the [[right]], one path goes to the [[left]], and the third path goes [[straight]].You decided to head down the right path. You walk down the right path uncertain of what you might encounter. As you are walking you see a box that has been tied up in string not allowing you to pass through untill you figure out how to open the box. You can either [[continue|continue2]] towards the box and figure out what it means or [[turn]] around and head back to the fork in the path. You picked the path that went to the left. As your walking down the path you see a door coming up. You don't know wether to [[continue]] towards the door, or [[turn]] around and go a different direction. You picked the path that goes straight. You walk down the path. You don't why but something about this path seems odd. It's almost like your walking in a circle. Soon enough you find yourself back in the room where you [[started]].You come back to the same room that you started in. You head back down the same path you started on. Once again you come to the fork in the path. You can either go to the path on the [[right]], the path on the [[left]], or you can go [[straight]] again. You continue down the left path and come face to face with a door. You try turning the doorknob but its locked. You try knocking on the door. Nothing happens. You go to turn around and head back down the path when you hear something coming from the other side of the door. You get closer to the door and lean your ear next to the door to try to hear what the person was saying. You can barley hear the voice but you can just make out what it is saying. " This old one runs forever, but never moves at all. He has not lungs nor throat, but still a mighty roaring call. What it is?" You can solve the riddle or [[turn]] around and head back to the fork in the path.
<<textbox "$riddle" "What is the answer?" >>
[[You speak your answer out loud|riddle]]You decided to turn around and head back to the fork in the path. You figured that it would probably be easier to go back and pick a different path. You come to the fork in the path. You can either go to the [[right]], the [[left]], or go [[straight]].You decide to head towards the box to figure it out. As you approach the box you notice that the box has a 4 digit passcode and a bright red button. You examize the box looking for any clues to what the passcode might be. You suddenly remember the note at the beginning of the maze and think that the note has something to do with this box. Did you [[keep|keep2]] the note or [[leave|leave2]] it ?<<if $riddle is "waterfall">>
You hear the doorknob turning and the door will open. You walk through the [[door]].
<<else>> Nothing happens you can either [[try again|continue]] or [[turn]] around.
<</if>>You pull the note out of your pocket and flip it over to see the scribbles on the back. The scribbles still don't make sense to you but you keep trying to figure it out anyways. You hold the note up to the light. As you do this you realize that there are 4 numbers that you can kind of make out through the scribbles. The numbers are 9152. You turn back towards the box. You can type in the passcode or you can [[turn]] around.
<<textbox "$code" "Enter the passcode.">>
Press the bright red [[button|openbox]]You left the note at the beginning and decide that it won't be there if you turn back to go get it. You figure that the passcode has something to do with someone close to you. You think that it might have something to do with your best friends birthday. Her birthday is June 17, 2003. You think that the code might be 6173 if you take the month, day, and the last number in the year that she was born. You can [[type]] in the passcode or [[turn]] around and go back.<<if $code is "9152">>
You hear music playing and the box opens up. [[Look inside|look]]?
<<else>>
Nothing happens. [[Try again|continue2]]
<</if>>Inside the box is a flashlight. You are confused as to why there is a flashlight in the box. You don't know whether to [[keep|keep4]] the flashlight or [[leave|leave4]] it behind. You walk up to the box figuring that this has to be the passcode.
<<textbox "$code" "Enter the passcode.">>
Press the bright red [[button|openbox]].You walk through the door and everything is pitch black. You heard the door close behind you. You turn back towards the door and try to find a doorknob. You don't find the doorknob but you do find a flashlight and another note. You don't know if you want to [[keep|keep3]] the flashlight or [[leave|leave3]] it behind because you won't need it later. You decide to keep the flashlight in case you need it later. You turn on the flashlight. As you continue down the path it seems to get brighter. The more you walk the lighter it gets. You turn off the flashlight to save the battery in case you need it and you really don't need it anymore. You continue down the path and you soon come to a [[fork]] in the path. You decided to leave the flashlight behind. You figured that the path wouldn't be that long and after that you wouldn't need it. As you walk down the path it seems to be getting brighter. The more you walk the brighter it gets. You soon come to a [[fork]] in the path. You can either go to the [[left|left2]], [[straight|straight2]], or to the [[right|right2]].You decided to keep the flashlight figuring that you would need it for later. The person who put you in this maze wouldn't have made it that difficult to get a flashlight unless you needed it. You continue on down the path and you soon come to a [[fork]] in the path. You decided to leave the flashlight behind figuring that the creator just put it there to slow you down. You run past the box and continue down the path. As you continue down the path you soon come to a [[fork]] in the path. You go down the right path. You continue down the right path and come to a dead end. You can either [[turn|fork]] around and head back to the fork in the path or you can give [[up]].You decided to go to the left. You walk down the left path and encounter a door. You think that the door is talking but you can't tell for sure. Get [[closer]] to the door or [[turn|fork]] aroundYou decided to go straight. You continue on down the path and soon you come to another [[fork|fork2]] in the path. You decided to give up figuring that you would never find your way out. The person you value most in your life has been captured and you will never see them again. The person who placed you made the maze disappear and placed you back at your house. I guessed its time to find out who they took. You look down at your feet and find a note on the ground.
"Congratulations you are almost done with the maze ! You have one last puzzle that you have to solve before you can exit this maze and get back the person you value most. However, if you don't pick the correct path you will find yourself at a dead end. You are probably thinking to yourself "Well that isn't a big deal I can just turn around and go down a different path." That is where you would be wrong. If you do pick a path that doesn't lead you to the last riddle, then it is all over for you. You will reach the dead end and that's it. If you find yourself at a dead end you will have lost the person you value most. Oh, by the way in case you didn't know we've been timing you the whole the whole time. Don't worry it's nothing to panic over, BUT if you don't make it out in a certain time you lose. You probably want to know how much time you have left but we aren't going to tell you. Have fun and don't pick the wrong path."
You put the note back on the ground and look at the three options in front of you. You can either go to the [[right|right3]], the [[left|left3]] or you can go [[straight|straight3]].You get closer to the door trying to figure out what it says. You rest your ear on the door and can hardly make out what it is saying. " I don't have eyes, but I once did see. Once I had thoughts but now I am white and empty." You can either [[answer]] the riddle or [[turn|fork]] around and go down a different path. You decided to answer the riddle.
<<textbox "riddle2" "What is the answer?">>
[[You speak your answer to the door|riddle2]]<<If $riddle2 is "skull">> The door creaks as it opens. The path is very dark and seems to be very long. You walk through the [[door|door2]].
<<else>> The door doesn't open, but it encourages you to try to solve the riddle [[again|answer]].
<<\if>>You walk through the door and think to yourself that it would be nice to have a flashlight. You remember seeing a flashlight earlier in the maze. Did you [[keep|keep5]] the flashlight or did you [[leave|leave5]] it behind? You grab the flashlight that you put in your back pocket. You turn in on and head down the path. As you are walking down the path you shine the flashlight on the ground and see a note laying on the ground. You pick up the note and read it. "Congratulations! You are almost out of the maze! Little thing that we didn't tell you at the beginning. We have been timing you this whole time. As you are reading this note you only have 20 minutes left to reach the end. I suggest that you hurry. That's just my opinion I hope you make it out!"
You quickly flip the note over to see if there is anything on the back. There is nothing on the back of the note. You throw the note behind you and sprint down the rest of the path. You eventually find yourself at another [[fork|fork2]] in the path. Regretting that you left the flashlight behind you start to walk down the path. As you walk down the path it seems to be getting darker. You eventually find yourself at another [[fork|fork2]] in the road. You run down the right path trying to get to the final puzzle. As you are running you hope that this isn't the dead end...
You find yourself at a dead end...
The person who placed you here took you home. I guess it's time to find out who will forever be missing from your life. You run down the left path trying to get to the final puzzle. As you are running you hope that this isn't the dead end...
You find yourself at a dead end...
The person who placed you here took you home. I guess it's time to find out who will forever be missing from your life. You run down the path that went straight. As you run down the path you think to yourself I hope this isn't the dead end...
You eventually find yourself at a door. You lean your ear on the door and can just barley hear what the door is saying.
"Forwards I am heavy, backwards I am not. What am I?"
<<textbox "$riddle3" "What is the answer?"
[[You speak your answer to the door|answer2]]<<If $riddle3 is "Ton">> The door opens and you see a person standing with their back to you. You walk through the [[door|door3]] very slowly.
<<else>> Try the riddle [[again|straight3]]?
<<if/>>You walk up to the person and tap them on the shoulder. They turn around and stare at you. You go to say something but they cut you off.
"Congratualtions you have made it through the maze. As was promised the person you value most is saved. We will not tell you who it is. We will return you to your home and you can figure it out from there."
